Goodnight friends! Clouds irregular and dramatically alpine today, wet haze and momentous grey ramparts splitting apart into a few afternoon hours of cottony rags and flaming blue-white brilliance. Little hedgerow and meadow margin flowers proliferate, half a dozen different hawksbits, shaggy-headed and hard to differentiate, star-like lesser stitchwort underfoot, even the pinhead-sized flowers of tendrilly catchweed bedstraw.
Joints and muscles still a bit tender, but warmer and clearer weather helps ease the aches. Sadly last night’s rain really seems to have locked in a slightly spiralling bout of insomnia, so I was generally bleary and didn’t do much. Getting myself back on a healthier schedule generally is probably my focus for now.
May we find self-acceptance and self-forgiveness today, recognising our struggles and acknowledging the work we continue to do!
