Godnight friends! Ups and downs today – a sulky, thickly grey morning that gave way for a few early afternoon hours to the first day in a long while that saw the temperature creep above 20°c. Sun beat down harsh and heavy and hot, lighting up bees yellow stripes like golden torcs. More new plants in the sandier, better drained soil here, comfrey and cowslips and propellor-bladed greater periwinkle.
Feeling a little better day by day with no rain, though the unfamiliarity of the space here and the lack of some small comforts and accomodations here – draughts, noise of coming and going, no chairs I can sit in or get up from comfortably or easily, tends to chip away at my energy exhausting me relatively early on in the day. Making more solid plans to get home now as I’m pretty confident in my recovery.
