Goodnight friends! The day segmented sharply into passages of sun and rain again – mostly hovering around 5°c, competing sharp and blunt sensations of heavy, enveloping cold. Whenever clouds clear sun-kissed upward bursting plants gain a particular crystalline beauty, fecund scents of wet earth and thick verdure quicken my heartbeat.
As usual, this kind of quick change weather is just about the worst for me, sensitised as I apparently am to any kind of temperature or pressure change. I muddled along as best I could, being careful not to exert myself anywhere close to my limit even when I would be briefly perked up a little.
