Goodnight friends! Several stretches of fine stippling rain throughout the day, leaving morse code blotches skidding down windows and giving a dark glossy sheen to the cracked earth. In between we had hours of expansive, sharply cold sunlight, ocassional wet shudders from the unfurling canopies as leaping squirrels dislodged trapped caches of water. Apples, maples and a few other broad leaved trees form bowers and cocoons of pale, rippling emerald light.
Not too much going on today for me – a slight rest and recovery mindset after working out yesterday for the first time in a while, but I did rouse myself for a fairly long, if slow-paced walk.
May we find laughter, love and delight in our lives today, even in moments of difficulty and hardship!
