Goodnight friends! Warmer, back above 10°c for portions of the day without such a harsh barging weight of wind. Clouds have piled up darker and more loomingly static as a result. Dark droning bumblebees whip by my head like slingshots, diving down among the faltering cherry blossoms. Talon-like blackberry runners reach out, nettles and cow parsley creep upward day by day, slowly smothering and swallowing last year’s tired, collapsed and yellowed growth.

Already feeling a few aches and pangs from today’s exercise, maybe I needed a little more recuperation or warming up this week after the turn back to cold weather. Didn’t get up to much else, feeling very grateful for the support, and the rare human contact, when a friend came over to help with food and cleaning.

May we find solace and comfort even in the midst of our deepest grief and hardship today!
