Good evening friends! Cold has intensified, gaining a rasping edge, but I gleefully accepted the trade for a day – however fleeting – of lively breezes and penetrating white-gold light. Patches of ground elder and ramsons and other little undergrowth plants are thickening, swarming over raw mud and replacing it with whispering mats of prismatic green.
Feeling my body ease and pain diminish, a degree of recovery from taking a lot of time for the enjoyable stillness of doing ‘nothing’, lounging around listening to podcasts and browsing through old photos.
May we grant ourselves guiltless time for simple indulgence, delight and relaxation today!
